Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape

Today's review is of the Gorilla waterproof sealing tape . I got one of those large inflatable Santa's for the yard this Christmas. During a windstorm the inflatable Santa hit the gutter and tore a 2 foot hole in the head of Santa. I had tried a few other tapes and adhesives but the combination the Midwest winter the water and cold caused the other tapes to fail and I gave up hope that Santa would be fixable.  Step in the Gorilla tape. I purchased the 4" wide band to cover the large hole, covered it with the clear 2" Gorilla Tape and fired up the fan again.  Success!!!  I have been taking down the Santa when it gets windy but in the rain and snow so far the tape has held its own. Personally I thikn this is one of the harsher applications of this product.  Get your role on Amazon: $13 Waterproof 4" Gorilla Tape FROM Gorilla Tape website: Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape instantly seals out water, air and moisture. With an extra thick adhesive layer and

Munchkin Any Angle Click Lock Weighted Straw Cup

This review is on the Munchkin Any Angle Click Lock Weighted Straw Cup. This cup is advertised as a spill proof cup that your child can drink from any angle.  The Good, the straw is super soft and super tough. Once my son had all his teeth he was able to bite through but while he was teething and starting out the straw was very durable. The cup doesn't spill when dropped and is just very durable overall. It also comes with a cap that pinches the straw shut and prevents leakage. Your child really can drink from this at any angle as the weighted straw drops to wherever the fluid in the cup is. The cup is pretty inexpensive as you can get it on Amazon for about $7 each (Link here: "Any Angle Cup" ) so when you lose one it is not to terrible to replace. Cup is also very dishwasher safe, no issues in the dishwasher at all.    The Bad, The straw is hard to clean. The cup comes with a cleaning brush which works well but it easily catches on the edges where the weighted section

Benefits of playing with traditional toys

Benefits of playing with traditional toys With the increase in the production of new technologies and availability of mobile phones and gadgets to children, the creative abilities of today’s children are affected to a dangerous level which is a big concern for parents now a days. So traditional toys come in handy in such situations.  Playing with toys has a tremendous impact on many elements of a child's life, in addition to exposing them to social interactions. Children are always eager to discover and learn new things. They are always curious about the world around them, and their active exploration of nature is a necessary aspect of growing up. Parents can help in their children's development and understanding of their surroundings by buying toys for them. Traditional toys  are a more unique and helpful instead of the gadgets on which they play games and watch videos all day. Traditional toys are not only charming and entertaining, but they also tend to survive longer.

Fisher Price Linkimals

Today's review is the Linkimals toy set by Fisher Price, these are a series of electronics toys that all have a bluetooth connection with each other and can sing, dance and do educational games with your kids. There are a bunch of different animals to choose from and they come in two basic sizes.  The Small ones are a Moose and a Beaver The larger ones include a hedgehog, sloth, panda, otter, penguin, lama, turtle, and a koala Each of the toys are completely independent and you only need to have one to play with. However the real joy is collecting a few of them and getting them all to sync up. They then sing a variety of songs and dances that are easy for kids to sing along too. My daughters favorite song is when each of them sing about being friend and they all go around and introduce themselves. As you can hear not all of them are on the shelf and it looks like Panda and Otter are not on. The team has dozens of song and it seems the more of the set you have the more songs they c

Western Digital EX2 Cloud NAS

Well it is finally here. I have been looking for a place to store and back up my family pictures as well as important documents such as tax returns and other financial and personal documents so I have been looking into getting my own personal cloud. After a good bit or research I decided to go with the Western Digital EX2. I happened to get the 8TB size but you can chose from a wide array of sizes including getting a bare box and adding your own dives to it. You can find the detail and link to them here:  https://shop.westerndigital.com/c/nas-and-cloud-storage The nice thing about the unit was how easy it is to setup and get up an running. This is definitely not a high workload system but much more geared towards the end home/home office user. In addition to the normal local access you can have at home you are also able to setup to look at your files at the  MyCloud.com  website or you can download the "My Cloud" mobile app.  As for Specs The unit comes with a Marvell ARMADA

Fulament Fula-Flex 2.0 Magnetic Spring Steel Smooth PEI Flex Bed

Hi everyone! So I recently have been looking for a way to get my prints off the printer in a cleaner way. I have been traying the typical hair spray / glue stick on the glass bed and that has done me well so far but I was really looking for something a bit easier to use. I recently came across a flexible bed made by Fulament. Now I have seen these flexible beds before but they always seemed to be cheap thin little parts that I was worried would never stay flat. This bed is however is great, for just $50 (a bit more if you want the textured version) is very thick. On top of that the magnet comes with a very sticky adhesive 3M backing and stuck solid to the aluminum platform. Installation process was simple 1. Take off the glass 2. Clean the surface with the supplied alcohol pads 3. Attached the magnet and snap on the plate. 4. re-level the print bed That's it! Print performance has been great, I have done a dozen prints or so and they come of clean and I don't have to wash off

TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor V3 Review

Short review for today, I needed to extend my wireless coverage to the back yard. My son likes to listen to music when we are playing outside and lets just say his music tastes are not on my vast library of stuff I was able to get on Napster. So we use youtube and spotify to play songs and a few data overages later I decided we needed an upgrade. I didn't need anything super fast just, 300Mbps speed is plenty fine but I did want to have coverage over the entire back yard. I also wanted a POE solution so I just had to worry about burring one cable and the low voltage makes it safer as well since I ended up mounting it on his playhouse.      Installation was a snap, a few screws into the mounting plate and plug in the CAT6 cable and it was installed. Once I verified I had power I logged into the  Omada APP and was able to find and setup the WAP in a few minutes.      Right now about 15% of the total network band width is using this access point so I'm pretty happy with it.
